Training Lessons of Practical Leadership Strategies are released online weekly so you can learn at your own pace, at the time that is convenient for you, and you only need to focus on one strategy each week. The lesson is presented in a conversational format with Leadership Expert Craig O’Sullivan and Leadership Psychologist Erin Carmody.

What Makes This Program Different?

Gamification uses the psychology of what makes games fun and addictive and transfers those elements into work and education. This program does this by game play (quizzes) to embed learning, but also you earn points, badges, and awards for your achievements to keep you engaged in the process of becoming a leader OnPurpose.

Why learn repetitive information from the expert in a classroom then go home to struggle with an assignment without the expert to help? The flipped classroom model reverses traditional learning by providing you the learning as a pre-recorded video to watch at your own time, then join the expert in a live Q&A each week to help you actually apply that strategy into your real life.

We are a mobile society… why do we need to keep logging into a computer? We have created a customised mobile app for you to download on iPhone or Android so that you can download content when you are on wifi then do your learning on the go. All of your learning is all right there on your phone so it is easy for you to access.

We learn better with others, it is more enjoyable with others, we are held accountable by others, and we embed our learning by teaching others. This mobile app contains a social learning forum for you to share with other Young Leaders OnPurpose.

Learn from leadership experts that not only have leadership experience, but have studied their craft at the highest level. Craig O'Sullivan has a Bachelors Degree in Applied Science Specialising in Human Movement Studies where he learnt how to get maximum performance from the body, along with psychological studies. He furthered this with a Degree in Education so he understands how to most effectively deliver learning outcomes effectively. On top of this Craig has a Masters in Leadership so he can provide you with Masters level leadership strategies without you having to do the hard work. Erin Carmody brings to the team a great asset of being a qualified and practicing Psychologist so she can help you shift behaviours, understand the cognitive functioning required as a leader, and how to understand the process behind each leadership principle. 

After doing almost 10 years of tertiary education and being a qualified teacher, I can say that the traditional education is ineffective, and is structured in a way so that the learning outcomes are geared towards ticking boxes so that you can get a piece of paper. You don’t need a piece of paper! You want to be a better leader. I have taken the best strategies from my Master in Leadership and 25 years’ experience as a leader in sports, corporate, business, and ministry so you only need to learn the bits that you need to lead OnPurpose.

Get weekly live interactions with your coaches to ask questions about the lessons as well as general questions about life to receive coaching and mentoring.

Because we want you to grow as a leader and not just learn leadership strategies, we will only be teaching you one strategy per week. This will allow you to take the time to focus on the one strategy all week, see how it applies to your real life and make adjustments as you go, instead of just being overwhelmed with an overload of different strategies.

No program is complete without accountability. This app is designed specifically to keep you on track with automated reminders of when new lessons are available, if you are falling behind, and when your coach is live. Your coach will also be monitoring your progress to ensure that you are staying on track and OnPurpose.

Craig O'Sullivan

Craig is passionate about eradicating poor leadership after seeing too many people unfulfilled at work, not pursuing their purpose, and even worse, emotionally damaged because of poor leadership. He believes that every person should flourish under a leader and should be supported to fulfil their purpose and the best way to eradicate poor leadership is to raise up the next generation of leaders who are ready to become positive influencers in the world leading OnPurpose.

With experience leading in church, business, and corporate, Craig has always prided himself on mentoring those he leads to grow both personally and professionally (he doesn’t always get it right but he always pursues this goal).  

Finding himself in very influential positions as a leader, Craig wanted to ensure that he was stewarding the responsibility and leading people successfully. Pressing through multiple learning disabilities, Craig completed a Masters in Leadership to back up his leadership experience with research-based theory and to add to his leadership knowledge and skills. 

As part of his Final Thesis Craig developed the Leader OnPurpose leadership model by curating all of theory and principles learnt in the Masters combined with his 25+ years leadership experience to be the most comprehensive, practical, and research-based leadership available.

Craig has been teaching the Leader OnPurpose model to business owners, corporate leadership teams, and pastors and now is excited about bringing this powerful program to raise up the next generation of leaders to lead OnPurpose. 

Although business is Craig’s life and passion, he also is passionate about being the most supportive husband to wife Nohelia and an encouraging father to his new born son, Roméo Michael, to raise him to be a positive influential leader in the next generation. He also loves being active, cycling everyday and spending time outside in God’s beautiful creation. Underneath, lies a ‘boy-racer’ who loves to build cars to go fast.

Erin Carmody

Erin Carmody

Erin Carmody is a consultant psychologist, business advisor, and investor. She holds a degree in psychology with honours from the University of Sydney. She has been providing cogent, tailored advice to individuals and businesses for over 12 years, assisting them to overcome their unique challenges. She has worked on projects for the NSW Police, Virgin Australia, Fairfax, Woolworths, and many others assisting them to create healthy and productive workplaces and to reduce the incidence of psychological injuries.
 
She is fascinated by the dynamics of human personality and how they manifest themselves in markets, enterprises and leaders. She is a strong proponent of classical virtue ethics and has discovered that this often overlooked field in fact holds the key to effective leadership and enduring businesses. More recently, she has been studying the concept of value, where it can really be found and how individuals and businesses can use a better definition of value to guide business and investment decisions. 
 
Outside of her career, Erin is an amateur musician. In her spare time you will find her writing songs, playing piano, or performing at a local venue. Unless it’s summer time, in which case you will find her at the beach soaking up as many rays as possible. Her mum was born in Madras, in India’s South, so she can cook a seriously mean curry, and she is on a never ending quest to find the world’s greatest blueberry smoothie.
